Hi.
Just wanted to say that it was great to read your travel notes and view the great photos. I just wondered if you had ever thought about putting a book together. "A diary of Yellowstone" How about that for a title! You have all the material and photos already.
Back here we had the most awful summer, the worst in over 100 years. It rained and rained and I was feeling pretty down by the end of it. The good news is the Goshawk site I found back in April, had 2 young and they got away without any trouble which was a big relief. Also, as Tim advised, I got a new camera "lumix 550" so can now take much better photos. A very good excuse to return to Yellowstone I think :)) All the very best for the rest of the year, Chris

Hi Yvonne from Wisconsin! Thanks for the note and the kind comments. We had better luck last time with the wolves than the bears so I guess you never know. If you get another trip in soon try the Lamar Valley early in the morning. Congrats on the good bear viewing. Thanks for taking the time to write!

Loved your journals and photos! I was just in Yellowstone last month and never got to see a single wolf in my five days in the park. I was fortunate with the bears, however.

Hi Steve and Nancy. Thank you for your kind words. June is a great time to be in the Park isnt it? Wow, you folks have been going to the Park a long time. Im sure you have plenty of stories to tell.
The Park has probably changed a bit during that time.
The Park does indeed "reward in magnificent fashion."
Thank you for taking the time to comment.
Tim and Christinie.

Your eloquent comments and photos of early June in Yellowstone were wonderful. We arrived just about the time you departed. We considered the wildlife viewing during our visit to be spectacular but your experiences were exceptional. After our first visit to YS in 1978 we try to make annual visits. The park never fails to reward in magnificent fashion.
